Rockstar Confirms Max Payne Delayed To May, Gets Proper Release Date
Rockstar have confirmed that Max Payne 3 has been delayed into May but has also released proper release dates for the game.
The game will be out on May 15 in the US and May 18 in the UK for the PS3 and 360 while the PC version of the game will be out on May 29 in the US and June 1 in the UK.
“Max Payne 3 brings powerful storytelling back to the action-shooter genre,” said Rockstar president Sam Houser. “Rockstar Studios are delivering a game that’s both incredibly cinematic and very, very intense to play.”
Rockstar has had huge success with past May video game launches with Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire being released in the past two May's respectively. “We do not take changes to our release schedule lightly, and this short delay will ensure that Max Payne 3 delivers the highest quality, groundbreaking entertainment experience that is expected from our company,” said Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
