Final Fantasy XIV To Start Charging Players Next Month
Square Enix have announced that they will begin charging players to play the MMORPG starting next month.
The publisher will begin charging you on January 6. The game has been free-to-play since it's catastrophic launch back in September of 2010. Subscriptions will run you ¥980 for 30 days of play and ¥2,640 for 90 days. However, subs will run ¥980 to ¥680 and ¥2,640 to ¥1,740 until V2.00, which will release next year and revamp the game.
This announcement only pertains to the PC version of the game seeing how the PS3 version has not been released yet.
