Rumor: Magazine Confirms Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer
It has it. It doesn't. It has it. It doesn't. The never-ending rumor of whether or not BioWare's upcoming Mass Effect 3 will have multiplayer or not, has made it's reappearance.
The Australian magazine PC PowerPlay's cover of next month's issue seems to confirm that Mass Effect 3 will indeed have a multiplayer mode.
The magazine's website even alludes to the news;
“That’s right – Mass Effect 3 is getting multiplayer! We travel to BioWare’s office in Edmonton for hands-on time with the series’ first foray into online gameplay, and chat with Mass Effect Series Producer and Mass Effect 3 Project Director Casey Hudson about the decision to go multiplayer in the epic battle for the galaxy,” it says.
“Multiplayer comes to Mass Effect 3. Fight alongside your friends, as the Galaxy goes to war!”
The only way we'll really know for sure is if and when BioWare comes out and directly confirms it. “Multiplayer comes to Mass Effect 3. Fight alongside your friends, as the Galaxy goes to war!”
Until then, chalk it up as a juicy rumor.
Mass Effect 3 is out in March 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
