Report: Pre-Order Battlefield 3 Through Origin, Get Free Game
According to a report if you pre-order EA and DICE's upcoming wartime shooter, Battlefield 3, through EA's streaming video game service, Origin, you will receive a free game as a bonus!
Ars-Technica is reporting that a member of their forums reported receiving an email after he pre-ordered the game through Origins stating that he had received a free digital title as a bonus.
“As a special thank you for pre-ordering Battlefield 3 early at Origin, we’re offering you a bonus PC digital download game. Please apply the code below at the shopping cart to redeem one PC Digital version of one of our recommended shooter titles: Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 2 or Medal of Honor. The price will be reduced to $0 after applying the code at your shopping cart. Hurry—this offer is only good for the month of August, and is exclusive to Origin customers only.”
We'll notch this one as a report/rumor for now until more people start reporting the same thing, but it's a nice touch by EA either way. Battlefield 3 is out in October for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
