Guild Wars 2 Beta Confirmed For 2011
NCSoft have announced that a Guild Wars 2 beta will be launching later this year.
Jaeho Lee, NCSoft's CFO, confirmed that the game will be getting a beta towards the end of the year and also hinted at a 2012 release for Guild Wars 2.
“Starting from year 2012, we believe substantial growth will be driven by new blockbuster titles like [Blade & Soul] and Guild Wars 2,” he said.
“Also, Guild Wars 2 will go into beta testing stage in the second half of this year.”
Speculation had arose that the game would be releasing at some point this year. NCSoft is looking to blow the roof off of Gamescom later this year. “Also, Guild Wars 2 will go into beta testing stage in the second half of this year.”
