Crysis 2 PC Officially Getting DirectX 11 Support Via Patch
Crytek have announced that the PC version of their title, Crysis 2, will officially be getting DirectX 11 support via a patch.
A Crytek representative stated on the game's official message boards,
“We would like to announce that there will be a DX11 patch released for Crysis 2. We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we’ll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release.”
For weeks it's been speculated that the PC version of the game would be getting DirectX 11 support, we just did not know when. The game was shipped with DirectX 9 graphical support, which left many PC gamers rather disappointed.
We'll keep you updated on when the patch will be released.
