Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition releasing October 22
PLAION and Dambuster Studios have announced that Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition will be releasing on 22 October this year.
As well as the complete Dead Island 2 base game, players will also get both story expansions - Haus and SoLA – and a plethora of stylish cosmetics and deadly weapons, including the brand-new Kingdom Come: Deliverance II weapon pack and:
● Memories of Banoi Pack
● Golden Weapons Pack
● Pulp Weapons Pack
● Red’s Demise Pack
● All six Slayer's Premium Skin Pack
And there's more: the upcoming Patch 6 – which will be free to anyone who owns a copy of the game – will introduce Neighborhood Watch – a new cooperative horde mode, developed by Fishlabs in collaboration with Dambuster studios, that pits players against relentless zombie swarms.
As members of the Bobcats, a fresh trio of college survivors, players must defend their frat house in Venice Canals from relentless waves of zombies, using fresh new skills, weapons and traps (a first in the series).
A brand-new trailer, dedicated to Neighborhood Watch, will inform and hype players on the content of this exciting addition. Players can check it out here (age restricted content).
And there's yet more, with the addition of New Game Plus, where players can dive back into the heart of LA (or HELL-A as we call it), armed with their favourite characters and weapons to face a whole new set of challenges and rewards; there's also an additional skill slot and increased level cap too.
