Gearbox announces Battleborn
Gearbox Software, developers of Borderlands, Duke Nukem Forever, and Aliens: Colonial Marines are now working on a new title: Battleborn, a "first-person battle arena" that features stylized graphics and an "expansive collection of diverse heroes."

The game will launch in 2016, which makes this a rather early announcement, but it is what it is.
Gearbox is also currently assisting 2K Australia with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
