Bain's Redemption gets website, gameplay trailer
Modern Entertainment Headquarters, or M.E.H. for short, has just launched the website for their new project, Bain's Redemption. You can check it out here.
A few weeks ago, they also released this gameplay teaser:
The comic book-style "SMASH! KRUNCH! POW!" pop ups are a nice touch.
The game looks to be a beat 'em up in the style of Devil May Cry, Double Dragon, and Final Fight. As Bain, players will slice into enemies with a katana, solve puzzles, explore, and even emply stealth. The story has Bain attempting to get revenge on ACiD, a Madison City street gang who murdered Bain's family. In order to do that, however, he'll have to escape from the Madison City Insane Asylum and battle corrupt police officers.
While a release date has yet to be set, M.E.H. is shooting for the "very tentative" date of July 2015. They will also be launching a kickstarter campaign for the game in late August.
