Creators of Tekken, SoulCalibur announce Rise of Incarnates

Earlier today, Bandai Namco Games America announced Rise of Incarnates, a free-to-play fighting game from the creators of SoulCalibur and Tekken:

The game features two-versus-two gameplay, and 3D arenas that allow players to run, jump, and fly around--both of which are rare things in fighting games. Bandai Namco also promises that the characters are all quite diverse to accomodate for different playstyles, both with ranged and melee combat.

The fighters themselves are the titular Incarnates--humans who command mythical powers, and are hated by the general population. The trailer shows four of these, but more will be revealed over time.

Interested? You can sign up for the alpha at the game's website.

Rise of Incarnates will be released later this year.
