Max: The Curse of Brotherhood coming to PC April 15th
Xbox One launch title Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is being ported to PC and Xbox 360. The PC version will launch on April 15th via Steam. The Xbox 360 version will come out April 9th.
The game was developed by Danish development studio Press Play. “We are really proud of releasing what we believe will be one of the best-looking games on XBLA," said Creative Director Mikkel Thorsted. "Originally, Max: the Curse of Brotherhood was developed for Xbox 360. Late in development we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to reposition the game as an Xbox One launch title. Since we shipped the Xbox One version, we have worked to make what we believe is the best possible Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game."
Not to be confused with the similarly-titled Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Max is a story-driven side-scrolling platformer. Players use Max's magic marker to solve environmental puzzles and confront enemies in order to save Max's younger brother Felix. The game features five magical powers and twenty levels set across seven worlds.
