Batman: Arkham Knight announced; will let players drive the Batmobile
Prepare for the final chapter in the Batman: Arkham series: Batman: Arkham Knight.
The game is being developed by Rocksteady, who made the excellent Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but not Arkham Origins.
A teaser video was uploaded as well:
The game will reportedly allow players to drive the Batmobile. It will feature a much larger Gotham City map, with wide streets to accomodate the Batmobile's driving. The main villain appears to be Scarecrow, but the trailer also shows Harley Quinn, Penguin, and Two-Face.
An official release date has yet to be announced, but hopefully the game will come out by the end of 2014. The platforms appear to be PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It does not appear that the game will come out for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 at this time.
This news comes fresh on the heels of last week's trailer for Arkham Origins' "Cold, Cold Heart" DLC.
