Goat Simulator is a real game now, thanks to the Internet
Well done, Internet!
Goat Simulator wasn't supposed to be a real game. About a week ago, Coffee Stain Studios, developers of Sanctum 2, released "alpha footage" of a new goat video game. Coffee Stain never expected the attention the footage would get. The video description even warned, "We're just playing around a bit with programming stuff, this is not our next big IP, calm yourselves journalists."
Well, the Internet really, really wanted Goat Simulator to be a real game. The demand became so strong that Coffee Stain had to give in. Earlier today, they announced that Goat Simulator is actually happening and can be pre-ordered now. They also released a new trailer:
Says Coffee Stain Studios: "Goat Simulator brings next gen goat simulation to a whole new level. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true. WASD to write destiny."
Coffee Stain is looking to release the game this spring.
