New trailer and developer diary for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2

With its release just a month away, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 has kicked up its hype machine, releasing both a new trailer and a new developer diary.

The new trailer, Dracula's Destiny, gives us a look at the game's voice cast, which includes Robert Carlyle, Patrick Stewart, and Jason Isaacs:

Developer Diary #2 shows us Mercury Steam's thoughts about the world they're building, and includes many new details:

Some of what we learn:
-The game will feature a seamless, increasingly-open world, rather than individual levels. It will have us exploring a modern city, as well as Dracula's castle, which is part of that city.
-The game will take place over the course of one night. Presumably a horrible night to have a curse.
-At 2:53 we get a look at some of the game's enemies, which include Chupacabras.
-There's an emphasis on mixing the modern with the Eastern European gothic aesthetic the Castlevania series is known for.
-One of the main threats in the game is Satan's return to Earth.

If you missed Developer Diary #1, you can find it here.

Lords of Shadow 2 launches for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 25 in North America and on February 28 in Europe.
