Fight Ganados in 60fps with Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition
Resident Evil 4 is a classic of the survival horror genre, winning multiple Game of the Year Awards when it came out in 2005. It did have a PC port in 2007, but it was infamously problematic.
Capcom looks to be righting that wrong with Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition, which is shambling onto PCs via steam. Here's the trailer:
The new version is described as an "improved experience retooled for modern machines," and will feature sharper textures, a 60fps framerate, controller support, the Separate Ways add-on, and French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese subtitles. It will retail on Steam for $20 / €20.
It isn't live on Steam just yet, but Capcom also has stated that if you pre-purchase the game, you'll receive an 80-page digital art archive and the 62-track official soundtrack.
