Dark Souls II "Curse" trailer full of nasty beasties
From Software has released a new trailer for Dark Souls II. Titled "Curse," it teases some of the ideas of the story and the enemies you'll face:
As you'd expect from the title, the game is the sequel to the infamously challenging action-RPG Dark Souls, which itself was a sequel to the PS3 exclusive Demon's Souls.
The game has a new graphics engine, with a world that is reportedly twice as large as that of Dark Souls. From Software has stated that the beginning of the game will be more accessible to newcomers than Dark Souls was, but the rest of the game will still be challenging and difficult.
Both of the previous Souls games are personal favorites of mine, so I very much hope Dark Souls II lives up to the series name. It comes out on March 11, 2014.
