Stalin vs. Martians 3 probes Kickstarter
Dreamlore Games has put up a kickstarter for their new project Stalin vs. Martians 3.
If you don't recall a Stalin vs. Martians 2, don't worry, you're not crazy--Dreamlore has addressed this in the FAQ, stating: "It is too boring to develop Stalin vs. Martians 2. We decided to skip it and develop Stalin vs. Martians 3 instead."
All backers will immediately get a free copy of the original Stalin vs. Martians game--which Dreamlore admits wasn't very good. Dreamlore claims that the original game had no budget, and that this time they have a much stronger team, with members that worked on such titles as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars. Says Dreamlore: "The most groundbreaking and innovative feature of Stalin vs. Martians 3 is that we plan not only to turn the concept up to 11, but also… you know… make it fun to play."
"So yeah, SvM3 is gonna be a bad game. But in a good way."
The gameplay is described as "Battletech meets Desert Strike meets Cannon Fodder meets your mom," but Dreamlore hopes to impliment other factors such as "disturbing video intermissions," as well as a multitude of minigames, including Cut the Stalin, Angry Stalin, Run Stalin Run, Candy Crush Stalin, Stalin's Dine & Dash, Super Stalin Bros. and Stalin's Dance Revolution.
To be successfully funded, Stalin vs. Martians 3's kickstarter must raise $125,000 by Friday, January 10, 2014.
