Alien Isolation Releasing Early?
In a surprising bit of a twist, a post from SEGA on the Steam page for Alien Isolation seems to indicate that it will be releasing today, rather than tomorrow. In fact, if this turns out to be the case in less than an hour from this post. Now take this with a grain of salt, as there have been times before where a company has accidentally had an information release faux pas on Steam, but right now since there has been no attempt to correct the assumption it's looking pretty solid. The release stated the following;
Alien: Isolation will go live worldwide on Steam today at 4pm BST / 5pm CEST / 8am PDT!
If this does turn out to be a mistake, someone at SEGA is certainly going to be feeling the heat. Current speculation around this is surrounding the recent major leak of the console versions from several different large and small retailers across the USA. The original release date was slated for 10/7/2014. Steam users who have prepurchased the game will know soon if this is the answer to their eager wishes, or fuel for an angry frenzy.
