The Evil Within's Minimum Specs Now Released
Last week the recommended specs for The Evil Within were revealed and they sent quite a few gamers into a frenzy due to the suggestion that 4GB VRAM would be needed whether you play at recommended settings or at minimum settings which at the time made it seem like they had not intention to reveal. Well, they seem to have recanted on that and a lot of people with lower tier gaming PCs can now breathe much easier. The minimum specifications are as follows;
OS: Windows 7/8.1
GPU: GTX 460 or an equivalent 1 GB VRAM card
CPU: i7 or an equivalent 4+ core processor
RAM: 4 GB
HDD: 50 GBl
While this still does not answer such a drastic amount of VRAM apparently needed for the recommended settings, it does show that most gamers between the two specifications offered may not have as much to worry about afterall.
