Prepare Yourselves, Debt Is Coming
In the midst of all the awesome gaming news pouring out of E3 this week, one of the most anticipated bits of news for PC gamers came in the form of a minor slip up on the part of the company Paysafecard. Essentially they just dropped the bomb on their company site revealing that the annual Summer Sale on Steam is just around the corner. On the site it was revealed that the sale will be running from June 19th through June 30th, twelve days of sales where gamers can pick up titles insanely cheap for limited times. Steam has always been well liked for the sales, but special events like this always take it to another level.
Though Valve has yet to confirm these dates, it's looking more and more likely as Mysterious Trading Cards have begun appearing on the user marketplace in both normal, and the more rare 'foil' versions. Paysafecard is also giving away PINs worth €10 to 250 users in preparation for the event. Though not 100% confirmed yet, it seems all the pieces are in place for next Thursday to indeed be the start of the event, considering Steam traffic will already be much heavier next month with The International DoTA 2 event underway.
So prepare your wallets, get your game faces on, and prepare for the sales. Also remember to spend responsibly, the only time there is such a thing as too many games is when your credit score is at risk.
