The Bard's Tale IV Kickstarter updated with in-engine video
InExile Entertainment launched their third Kickstarter campaign (previously Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera), this time they’re revisiting the dungeon crawling series The Bard's Tale (InExile have said to forget about 2004's rendition!). With 35 days still to go, The Bard's Tale IV is already close to its funding goal. Refreshingly, the first-person party based RPG looks different enough from the other classic series InExile has rebooted. Unlike the recent Legend of Grimrock you’re also not bound by turns or a rigid grid outside of combat. The newly released video below, all in-engine apparently, should help you visualise some of this.
