Evolve goes gold and gets fancy cinematic trailer
Turtle Rock has announced that its 4 versus 1 monster-hunting shooter Evolve has “gone gold” – meaning it’s currently off to the manufactory/being beamed into the “cloud” (a big server bank). The Left 4 Dead developer has also released the intro cinematic for its new game to coincide with the announcement. Whilst the cinematic looks a lot closer to the actual experience of playing the game than Elite: Dangerous’ trailer did, I’m mighty suspicious of the amount of jet-pack time shown! I don't remember flying about with such grace in last year's beta either.
Evolve releases on February 10, but some players can expect to join in on the fun earlier, on January 16, via a final open-beta phase.
