Grand Ages: Medieval shows off its terrain
Tropico developer Kalypso has released a trailer for its upcoming epic strategy game Grand Ages: Medieval. The video primarily shows off the game world, all thirty million square kilometres of which you’ll be able to explore via the omnipresent virtual camera with its extreme pans and zooms. I hear that the huge landmass of Europe may also be used to develop your faction’s settlements and economy.
Lying somewhere between Total War and Civilization, Grand Ages combines the usual tech trees, trade routes and national diplomacy with the destructive power of mother nature, and will perhaps even feature a simulated Black Death. Where was that option in Sim City?
You can read some of my views on the early build of Grand Ages: Medieval here. But before that, check out the footage below!
