Gone Home dev reveals space-based Tacoma
Fullbright, developer of the award-winning walk-a-thon Gone Home, has announced its next game Tacoma. Although only a short teaser video has been shown, and the game isn’t due to be released until 2016, at least we now know Fullbright are sticking to what they’re good at: first-personal narrative experiences.
Tacoma takes place far away from the plight of suburban American teenagers (fingers crossed anyway), on the “Lunar Transfer Station”. The trailer shows the dramatic opening of a dial-tone space door and the female technician character's entrance into a luxurious looking space habitat chock full of decadent early 20th century looking gilded trimmings. “A Virgin-Tesla Facility” it says on the sign: the private sector goes to space?
