Just Cause 3 announced for 2015
Just Cause 3, sequel to the utterly ridiculous Just Cause 2 – a game in which you can grappling hook between moving cars and ride atop them like a surfboard, as well as fly through rainforests and over mountains with a parachute – has finally been officially announced. Swedish developer Avalanche Studios, who almost managed to perfectly distil open-world fun back in 2010, will be working with its New York studio and alongside Square Enix London to drop players into a chaotic Mediterranean sandbox at some point in 2015. Avalanche has described its game as striking “a fine balance between outright stupidity and fun”. I'm not personally convinced the two concepts form separate sides of a scale.
