Assassin's Creed: Rogue trailer

There's not one, but two Assassin’s Creed games on the horizon. Somewhat obscured by the “next-gen” glitz of Ubisoft Montreal’s Parisian blockbuster, Unity, is Assassin’s Creed: Rogue. Although it won't see a PC release until early 2015, the darker and less orthodox side-entry in the grand historical action adventure series is shaping up to be just as interesting. As with the well-received Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Rogue will feature plenty of navy-based antics, although it swaps the warm seas of the Caribbean for the icy chill of the North Atlantic. Also, in similar Black Flag anti-hero fashion, you will play as young Irishman, Shay: a disillusioned rogue who turns his back on the overly-righteous, goodie-two-shoe Assassins (who you’ll no doubt have to put up with in Unity). Glitz to one side, I know which of the upcoming Assassin’s games I’m more excited for.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Rogue, which as mentioned, will see a PC release early next year.
