More of Far Cry 4's "Kyrat"
Ubisoft has released the second part of its video series exploring the exotic and orientalist “Kyrat”, the setting of the upcoming first-person shooter Far Cry 4. The new video highlights the game's northern regions, with its diverse wildlife and unusual “bloodsports”. It also explores the harsh, snowy extremes of the Himalayas, where beyond ferocious wolves, snow leopards and deadly avalanches, there also lies a craggy gulag built into the cliffs and known as the “Sky Prison”. Much like its predecessor, the new Far Cry looks completely delirious, dream-like, violent and heavy in exotic imagery – although it’s good to see a little more colour in the environments.
Far Cry 4 is due to be released on the 18th of November.
