Sleeping Dogs definitively remastered
United Front Games’ Hong Kong-based action thriller Sleeping Dogs is to be re-released as a “Definition Edition” on October 14. The particularly wet and shiny open world has been packed full of extra pedestrians and atmospheric effects. The game also comes with all previous downloadable content, much of which seems to involve undercover cop Wei Shen dressing up as Bruce Lee or characters from other Square Enix produced titles, such as Agent 47 and Just Cause’s dude with the grappling hook. As if Wei’s identity hadn’t been blurred or confused enough, having to finely balance Triad and Police lives simultaneously.
Remastered editions seem to be all the rage these days. Perhaps for those who missed the original’s Hong Kong flavoured antics, this new and shiny edition will finally tempt them into living young and dangerous.
