Day One DLC for Total War: Warhammer
So a few weeks ago, I wrote an article about how there was no playable Chaos faction for Total War: Warhammer and today I am proud to be able to tell you all that I was wrong. You will be able to access the Chaos faction in the upcoming release, but only after making the proper offering to the pantheon of Dark Gods.
You must pre-order the game.
They did the same thing back with Rome 2, offering the Greek City-States factions as day one DLC for those who had pre-ordered the game and then charging some six dollars for everyone else who wanted to get it. Absolutely no one is surprised at the turn of events. While it is not unheard of for people who reserve a copy of the game to receive such rewards for their loyalty this serves as a dark omen of signs to come, as Creative Assembly has a history of pushing wave after wave of 5 dollar faction packs at its audience in the last two projects it has completed, Total War(s) Rome 2 and Attila.
Total War: Warhammer has a release date of April 28th, 2016.
