Warhammer: Vermintide launch date
Ever since THQ died back in 2013, they've been letting anyone who wants to make a Warhammer game the chance to do so. Even Eutechnyx, the ones responsible for "Ride to Hell Retribution", which is oft cited as the worst game ever made, got to make an embarrassingly bad Warhammer game. But now it seems like someone who actually knows what they're doing has taken a stab at it.
Warhammer: Vermintide is a 5-player co-op experience set in the final days of the Warhammer Fantasy universe before it was blown up by its creator Games Workshop in order to advance the plot. The setting is the city of Ubersreik and the objective is to kill as many Skaven (rat people) as possible. I have heard it referred to as a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead but haven't played it myself, but videos of the gameplay look wonderful. It is set to be released on the 23rd of this October for the PC with an Xbox and Play Station release date set sometime in early 2016.
