Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion pack gets stunning first images
CD Projekt Red has released the first images of upcoming Witcher 3 expansion "Blood and Wine". The images show off the vibrant, expansive world that players will be able to explore sometime next year.
The two images show off the new region of Toussaint where Blood and Wine's new content will take place. CD Projekt Red have yet to shed much light on what the new expansion entails other than it will "take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret". Who doesn't love a mysterious bloody secret to uncover?
Blood and Wine will not only include a whole new area for players to explore, but will also include new gear and enemies, as well as characters who are "both new and dearly missed". CD Projekt Red also stated that the new expansion is "crafted with maximum attention to detail and quality".
Blood and Wine is expected to offer around 20 hours of gameplay, which is almost double of what Hearts of Stone had to offer.
A specific release date for Blood and Wine is yet to be revealed, but you has been promised to be released within the first half of 2016 (January-June).
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released back in May this year and just recently won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2015.
