Magicka releases free PvP add-on plus loads more DLC
While Magicka is mostly full of 'accidental' PvP in it's regular Co-op mode due to the friendly fire feature, some of the guys at Paradox Interactive thought it'd be good to include a full blown PvP mode. To celebrate this fact they're released the pretty ingenious trailer linked above.
The free PvP DLC comes with the new versus mode, one new map and a "Reservoir Robes" costume which gives your wizard a sharp looking suit and a new M1911 pistol. For those willing to fork over some gold you can buy the four optional DLC packs which include the "Party Robes" costume pack as well as the Watch Tower, Frozen Lake, and Final Frontier maps. The Final Frontier DLC gives you some pretty sweet Star Trek style robes and, as you may have guessed, rips off that one scene in that one Star Trek episode but if the lawyers come knocking you didn't hear it from us.
Unfortunately, I've now got to tell that hobo down the street that I spent all my spare change on Magicka DLC instead of letting him eat today. Curse you Magicka and your irresistible silliness!
