Big World (cntd)
In addition to these new attractions, the infamous Happy Room Academy (HRA) have a store established in the big city. The HRA were famous for evaluating your house in previous games, and one can assume that’s what they’ll do this time. Since most furniture belong to sets of themes, the HRA evaluated your house using criteria such as whether the items in each room matched and whether everything coordinated. Though the purpose of the building in the city remains unknown, it’s likely be centred around designing your room.
Besides those big places, the city also plays home to a movie theatre, an alley, and an auction house. While inside the movie theatre, players can watch comedy films. In the alley, players can meet Redd, a store owner who competes with Tom Nook. Give him the right password and he’ll let you access his store of ‘deals’. At the auction house, players can bid on items and they can also put their own items up so people can bid on them.
Happy Holidays
Making a return in
City Folk are holidays. Throughout the year, special events will occur. During Christmas, Jingle will appear and give you a piece of furniture from the Christmas-themed series. Other occasions that have been confirmed thus far are Halloween and Bunny Day, which is likely Easter. Previous
Animal Crossing games have seen monthly events such as the fishing tourney and bug-off. The winner usually got a trophy as well as a letter from Tortimer, the mayor of the town.
Equipped for Fun
In addition to all of the other returning themes and locations, a lot of pieces of equipment will also be making a return. Nets, fishing rods, axe, watering cans, and shovels have all been confirmed and hopefully slingshots will make a return as well. Using these items, players can tackle a wide array of activities such as catching fish, grow their own gardens and chop down trees.
Customize Your Life
The great thing about
Animal Crossing games are that you can customize the game however you want it to be. If you like fancy stationary, you can buy that and send your letters on it. If you like green furniture, why not have your entire house green? Maybe you’re the messy type. Maybe your town reflects that. Maybe you like fancy beds? You can now buy beds at Tom Nook’s and you can set them as your bed in your attic. Fashionable? Why not go to Able Sisters and buy the latest fashions. It’s your life in
Animal Crossing and it’s only what you make of it!
