Every month we will introduce you to the top 5 games that cause our editors to salivate at the thought of playing them. It should be mentioned that a game doesn't end up on this list easily: each of them went through a rigorous selection process that involves lots of bruised skin and the occasional black eye. Not to be missed!
BioShock 2
Set approximately 10 years after the original, BioShock 2 introduces players to an evolved Rapture – a place no longer under the influence of Andrew Ryan's Randian philosophy, but now subject to Sophia Lamb's extreme altruistic vision. Lamb employs Big Sisters – Big Daddy, Little Sister hybrids – to maintain order and Father Wales – founder of the Rapture Family cult – to attract more splicers to her cause. To combat Lamb's influence, players take on the role of Subject Delta, the original Big Daddy and protector of Eleanor Lamb – the first Little Sister successfully bonded to a Big Daddy. As Subject Delta, players can dual-wield weapons and Plasmids, utilize special Big Daddy abilities like the shoulder dash, and walk on the ocean floor outside of Rapture. Thanks to its predecessor's success, BioShock 2 has a lot to live up to, and we can't wait to see how it performs.
