Best X360 Game 2011
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
Get the Fus Ro Da out of my way, Skyrim is here and it is wonderful. With more unique quests than you can possibly imagine, soaring dragons to battle and hundreds of hand crafted dungeons to explore; Skyrim is a marvel amongst its typically lacklustre AAA companions. This is what a cRPG should be. Freedom to do as you choose, hundreds of hours of content, and a fantastically exciting world to explore in which every corner reveals something to grab your interest. Sure there are bugs, but they are negligible to the overall experience. Never before have we so quickly rushed back on to a game after it has just crashed on us. We are going to be playing and talking about Skyrim for a very long time.

Runners Up
Batman: Arkham City
It was a close one for top spot this year. With a fantastic story, engrossing combat, confident writing and a detailed and packed open slice of Gotham City. Add Batman and most of his rogues and Arkham City comes very close. If you haven’t played it, you’re missing out on one of the best games ever made.
Gears of War 3
Gears of War 3’s campaign includes some of the most intense action set pieces the franchise has seen and delivers a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Multiplayer is the most fun the franchise has seen, and the plethora of co-op options will keep you and your friends coming back for a long time.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
A divisive prequel to arguably the greatest game ever made. Deus Ex: Human Revolution impresses with a well realized future world and an impressive array of gameplay choice. The loose story and the not too stellar boss battles leave something to improved in the next Deus Ex but ultimately don’t detract from the great game it is.
Forza Motorsport 4
Forza 4 manages to out-do the amazing Forza 3 in nearly every possible way, delivering one of the best racing games in years. Cars look beautiful and handle well, the AI is tough but fun, and there are more game modes than you can shake a stick at.
