Gears of War 3 Accidentally Confirmed

It was obvious that Gear of War 3 would eventually be released. Speculation suggested that it would have been announced on the Jimmy Fallon show last night but Cliff Bleszenski's appearance was changed to Monday. I don't think Microsoft were informed of this though.

As you can see in the picture above, Gears of War 3 made an appearance in a window of the Xbox Live Dashboard, despite no official announcement. Microsoft must have forgotten to change the date. It's been removed now but that's surely enough evidence to confirm the game and almost guarantees that Cliffy B was going to announce it.

Despite the announcement probably being ruined and Cliffy B probably being very annoyed, I'm looking forward to seeing some footage of Gears of War 3 which will most likely pop up on Monday.
