GTAIV Episodes Delayed Slightly On PS3, PC
Xbox 360 owners have already had the chance to play through both sets of
Grand Theft Auto IV DLC but PS3 and PC gamers aren't as lucky. Their luck doesn't seem to be getting much better either as the DLC has been delayed by two weeks. Rockstar provided the following reasoning for the delay:
"Due to a last minute game submission request from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe to edit some of the in-game Liberty City radio station, television, and Internet content – we are forced to delay the worldwide release of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City for both PlayStation 3 and PC for an extra two weeks."
Only the European version will be affected by the content change but it will be delayed worldwide. This is to provide a "simultaneous" experience for all gamers.
with a simultaneous release, everyone can experience multiplayer simultaneously, take part in online events together, be on level ground on leaderboards, etc.
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City which contains
The Lost and the Damned and
The Ballad of Gay Tony will now be released on April 13th and April 16th in North America and Europe respectively.
