If you follow the link to the "Mapathy" website it details that over 20 million people could be at risk from being bored of the current maps available in
Modern Warfare 2. Being the kind folks that they are, Infinity Ward had whipped up a cure which they will distribute over Xbox Live on March 30.
If the "Mapathy" talk confuses you, all you need to know is that Infinity Ward have announced that the
Modern Warfare 2 DLC will be released on March 30.

“Mapathy (n.) [map-uh-thee] (often expressed as, “How the hell did you know I was there?!”) is a state of indifference to the same old maps one has been playing for the last several months. The Mapathetic individual no longer derives pleasure from blowing up people hiding in the cockpit or on top of the crane. More than 20 million people may be at risk of Mapathy”

This was a great way to announce the DLC, if you ask me.
