Bayonetta Sequel?

Hideki Kamiya, the designer of Bayonetta has mentioned that he would like to do a sequel or a spin-off to the action packed game. Nothing official has been announced but he told Game Informer magazine the following:

"We obviously have love for the work we have created, so I don't see anything wrong with Bayonetta 2. Personally, I'd like to approach the world of Bayonetta from a different angle, in the form of a spin-off."

A new angle would suggest a new character with a different gameplay approach. Jeanne would be the most obvious choice but it's doubtful Platinum Games will go for the obvious choice. They made a game about a witch, who wears her hair and has guns on both her arms and legs; there is nothing obvious about that!
