Japan saw some big games last year (Well, for the Japanese) with many sequels to some of the biggest franchises over there. Famitsu have released figures for the top 5 best selling games in Japan of last year.

As usual Square Enix and Nintendo dominate the Japanese sales.
Just finished God of War III and replayed the original. Both as as great as always; I'll be starting the second one soon. Alan Wake is great - fantastic music and narrative. Pokemon: SoulSilver is taking up most of my time though - so addictive and fun.
