Message For Everyone (Well, Maybe Not Everyone...)

Well, my first "Ughhh" post was about me being sick, and guess what, I still am, sort of.

I'm sick in a different way. Today I am sick to my stomach, after watching my favorite football team, the New England Patriots drop a disappointing playoff game to the Baltimore Ravens. For those who aren't aware, I have been a Patriots fan for as long as I have been on this earth.

From the age of 10 I went to every home game with my father up in Foxborough, MA, despite the weather. My favorite memory of going was during the 2003 NFL playoffs where the temperature dipped below 2 degrees F, and with the wind chill it went down to -13. GREAT GAME. Drinks would freeze before you got back to your seat, your shoes could catch on fire and you wouldn't even realize it until your boot was half melted, oh, and we won 17-14.

Those were the days. Now we have a shotty defense, a suspect offense line, a quarterback with more injuries than the coaches can keep up with, and our best receiver tore both his MCL and ACL. Woo Hoo.

I know this is a video game website, and were supposed to discus gaming/tech news, but this is also a blog, and I feel the need to blog about this.

I give props to the Ravens, they had our number (I say it like I'm part of the team...) and you cant argue that. I'm just disappointed in all those people who trash talk the patriots when they lose.

They lost, we get it, you really need to start talkin' sh*t about a team that lost? What else can you take away from them, they are done for the year. You really think your cool by saying they are the worst team ever and you love seeing them lose? Get over yourself, man up, and be a real fan, of your own team. Real football fans, like myself, don't feel the need to attack another team, regardless if they win or lose. It makes no sense and shows no class. Get off your high horse and step down to the real world.

If I offended anyone, I apologize, since thats not what I'm all about, but some people really need a smack in the mouth (figuratively or literally) in order to see how arrogant and immature they can be.
