Borderlands has issues

Borderlands has issues
There's a growing list on Borderlands' official forums of the newly released game's technical issues and some of those issues are pretty nasty.

Some of the bugs have workarounds. For instance, PC owners may need to forward some ports if they are having difficulty connecting to multiplayer games. If a trophy or achievement fails to unlock, Gearbox suggests getting the achievement with a new character.

Some of the issues, such as the PSN's friends list not working, have been resolved.

But, there are still some bugs in the game that will cause many to curl up in the fetal position weeping hot, salty gamer tears, including one that will corrupt your save game files. If that wasn't bad enough (and that alone is pretty damn bad), there is also apparently a glitch that can cause a player to lose all of their skill points, weapon proficiency progress, or even inventory items after leaving a multiplayer game.

Ouch. Borderlands is a good game. I love it's cel-shaded graphics and it's sense of humor. Hopefully, Gearbox can resolve these issues quickly so that we can all enjoy our time spent blasting skags in Pandora without fear of losing everything in the process.
