Aion boots idle shopkeepers, opens new server

Less than a week into the launch of new MMORPG Aion, NCsoft is hard at work addressing the issue of queue wait times.

After a short maintenance period this morning, personal stores now have a 30-minute timer. Previously, there was no limit to the amount of time a player could set up a personal store. Many used the feature to AFK for lengthy periods of time so they wouldn't be disconnected and have to wait in the queues, which only made the wait longer for other players during peak hours.

NCsoft has also opened a new west coast server called Fregion. An east coast server and European server are also on the way.
