Tales of Monkey Island is back!

Tales of Monkey Island Chapter Two: The Seige of Spinner Cay was released today!

The new episode picks up where the last one left off, with Guybrush Threepwood being held at sword point by a mysterious woman. That woman turns out to be pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay, a new character, who was hired by a loony scientist to bring back Guybrush's LeChuck-diseased hand.

In case any of you have forgotten the details of the previous chapter's plot, don't worry. The voodoo lady explains it all to you through tarot cards, which is a nice touch. Hopefully, Telltale Games will continue to open each episode in a similar way.

The Monkey Island series trademark in-jokes are back in full force, the opening few minutes of the game already having references to "three-headed monkeys" and Guybrush's ability to hold his breath for a whole 10 minutes.

The only downside? It'll be over too quickly, leaving all of us to pine away for another month until the next episode.

But in the meantime, grab your pirate hats and rubber chickens with pulleys in the middle and enjoy another fun Guybrush adventure.
