Modern Warfare 2 DLC Price Announced

Modern Warfare 2 DLC Price Announced
Infinity Ward has been going through a rough spot as of late, what with their studio heads being canned, morale dropping to an all time low, and Activision's attempts to completely take control of both the Call of Duty and Modern Warfare franchises. That being said however the consumer has yet to feel the impact of the events of the past several weeks.

Well, until now.

Robert Bowling, while being interviewed on Larry Hyrb's (Major Nelson) weekly podcast, announced the pricing for the first batch of DLC for Modern Warfare 2. And, yes, as you can tell from Tommy Lee Jones' reaction to the news, the price isn't friendly.

How much are you going to have to fork over? $15.

What. The. Heck.

Seriously, fifteen bucks for only FIVE maps? The mathematically inclined knows that that's $3 a stinking map and while I do love Crash and Overgrown I don't love them THAT much.

If you haven't already read it somewhere else then look forward to quite a bit of strife on the internet in the next few days. With any luck maybe with enough consumers complaining the maps will be knocked down to $10 instead of this clear act of price-gouging.
