WoW Burning Crusade gets a Chinese release

WoW Burning Crusade gets a Chinese release
For World of Warcraft players in China, being a fan of the largest MMO on the block is not easy. Due to issues with the Chinese government Blizzard was previously unable to release the first WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade, within the country.

The expansion, released January 16 of 2007, will become available to Chinese players through Blizzard's Chinese partner, NetEase. While a success for Blizzard's efforts in the Chinese market, the release is not without its setbacks. New players will be unable to register for the game while NetEase applies for the license to the expansion throughout this week. For all the WoW fans and gold farmers in China, lets hope it only stays a week.
