Rumored to be released in the future, be it by Interplay or somebody else via court proceedings, the rumors got all the fuel they needed today, when three supposed screenshots of the MMO hit the web. These screenshots are from a game code-named Project V13. The shots are part of the defense in a trial for publisher Interplay, in a case where Bethesda (owner of the rights to the Fallout series), is suing them for trademark infringement.
Following on the success of Fallout 3, the next entry which has been officially announced is Fallout: New Vegas by Bethesda, set to be released during Q4 2010. These screenshots bring hopes to gamer's dreams of having a Fallout based MMO.

Multiple gaming and computer sites alike are reporting the extreme possibility of Direct X 11 compatible graphics cards being released just in time for the Holiday season. These reports come just after the CEO of Crytek announced to the gaming world at GDC that he thought that graphics would not get much better in gaming in comparison to what they're at now until at least 2012. It is my opinion that the graphics will not get drastically better however, I find it quite likely that the DX11 compatible cards are out by the end of the year.
The rumours circulating the internet right now are fuelled by the photo to the left, which is reportedly a Radeon HD 5850. The DX11-based Radeon 5800 series are set to launch in late September, early October according to many reports. The competition, Nvidia's DX11-based GT300 is set to complete engineering samples by the end of September and begin shipping as early as December 2009.
As of press time for most reports; AMD has not commented on the picture of the card to the left, and whether or not it is the real card or whether someone has just been very energetic in 3D Studio Max.

The July PC NPD numbers have been released and as expected, EA and Activision-Blizzard cover about 80% of it. There were few surprises with Sims 3 taking the crown with runner-up World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King not far behind. The biggest surprise out of the list came in the number three spot, where Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships took third.

Following up on yesterday's update of 18 daft hats and a new map, Valve has upped the ante today by announcing a new offering of an additional game mode for the game, King of the Hill, as well as another map, Viaduct. They are revamping older map's locations (Nucleus and Sawmill) for the king of the hill game mode as well.
King of the Hill features gameplay centered around a single capture point in which a team must capture the point and hold it for three minutes, without it being recaptured by the other team. Initially the point is locked briefly until it is unlocked and available for both teams to capture it. Once captured, the capturing team's clock begins to countdown from three minutes and will only stop once the point is recaptured by the opposing team. The clock is not reset, but instead it just stops, thus making it so that a team would not have to hold the point for three consecutive minutes.
