Gearbox creative director Mike Neumann teased an announcement of something that eventually got pushed back, and not getting announced. Regardless, it seems as though the beans have been spilled anyways. PS3Trophies.org added a new series of trophies this morning that included the ones pictured to the right. No achievements have surfaced yet for the 360 version of the game, but it is only a matter of time.
The added trophies point towards the addition of more DLC to the biggest surprise of the year for many, Gearbox's role-playing shooter, Borderlands. The DLC seems to include the addition of some sort of coliseum based gameplay.
Bronze
• Small Tournament - Completed the lesser challenge in all 3 coliseums
Silver
• Hell-Burbia - Completed the larger challenge in the Hell-Burbia coliseum
• The Angelic Ruins - Completed the larger challenge in The Angelic Ruins coliseum
• The Gully - Completed the larger challenge in The Gully coliseum
Gold
•Big Tournament - Completed each of the larger challenges in all 3 coliseums
The challenge portions obviously are the in-game "achievements" which reward your character with more experience points. It is anyone's guess as to what the requirements for completing the in-game challenge. Hopefully we may hear more from Gearbox now that PS3Trophies has gotten the ball rolling.
