Rumor Hour: PS3 Getting Cross Game Chat?
Many have requested it and many have complained about not having it. A feature that seems fairly standard and has been on the 360 since it's launch in 2005, the PS3 has yet to receive. Well those days may be over according to a developer at Naughty Dog known as ReklissAbandon on Twitter. While commenting on the lack of enemy spectating in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, he seemed to let slip that cross game chat was coming in the next firmware update.
Not to mention that the next PS3 firmware update is going to allow cross game chat. So if players use that instead of in game communication then they would also be able to communicate enemies positions.
The post was quickly deleted from ReklissAbandon's Twitter page leading to even more speculation that it is in fact truthful. As per Sony policy, they've declined to comment on rumors and speculation.
