2K also revealed a three tier system for pre-order incentives if you plop down some money early for the game. However, the publisher also stated that pre-orders are not guaranteed and will be on a first come first serve basis. There is no guarantee that a second round of pre-order bonuses will be shipped. The more people that pre-order the game the quicker we'll all get to having a free copy of Civ V. However, the tiers have to fill up all the way in order for that to happen.

Here's the first tier:

Elite Soldier Pack

- "several aesthetic upgrades to armor suits” using “a variety of colors and tints."
- A soldier from the original XCOM title

Second Tier:

- Team Fortress 2 item backpack
- flattop hair helmet
- "Area 451" Sectoid
- Vigilant pin

Third tier:

- copy of Civilization V (giftable, so don't you worry)

You can pre-order the game here.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is out on October 9.
